Marketing your eLearning platform

Building on her successful Global Learning Forum Roundtable session Kyle Pennisi from IPAS will lead this session where there will be the opportunity to share best practices, lessons learned, and yes-what not to do, when trying to build their learning platform audience.

The session will consider “How do you market your learning platform?”; “How can you reach more people than what is ‘required’ by your organization?”; “What messages work best to attract additional users?”, and “Once you attract these users, what is the ‘hook’ for getting them to take the first step and create an account?” Participants will consider marketing their learning platform to both an internal and an external audience.

LMS reporting that works

When trying to report on learning in your organisation are you constantly asking:

Which data do I need?

Which information does senior management want to see?

Which report/s should I run?

How do i make sense of all this data?

What is the best way to present it?

That was a lot of hard work: is there an easy way to keep doing this?

These questions are common, you really are not alone!

Janet Humphry’s from GOAL has had great success in working through these questions and taking it beyond simply an exercise in reporting! Through this webinar she will be able to offer you practical help and guidance in answering these questions using your own learning system.

Blackboard Collaborate Moderator Training

Join LINGOs’ Manager of Member Services Gus Curran in a two-part workshop to build your skills as a moderator in the Blackboard Collaborate Virtual Classroom environment.

In this workshop, we will cover planning, delivering, and follow-up. Participants will have an opportunity for hands on practice of the tools that you’ll be using to deliver online training and webinars.

Here are some of the topics we’ll be covering in part one; December 11 from 11 AM– noon EST (same time as NY).
•Preparing your learners so that you can start on time
•Best practices for preparing your content for your session
•The most commonly used tools for delivering training, including whiteboard tools, application sharing, chat, video, and more.
•Tips for keeping learners engaged.
•Common in-session technical problems, how to recognize them, and how to handle them (and avoid them!)

In Part Two (December 18, 11 AM Eastern US time), you will have a chance to present to the other participants using the tools that you’re likely to use in your sessions. More on this at the first session.
