Project Management for Development Professionals – The PMD Pro Story

Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD Pro) is the first professional program and certification designed to address the needs of project managers in the international development sector.

In just five years, PMD Pro training has reached over 10,000 development and humanitarian relief project managers. The individuals certified in the basic program, PMD Pro 1, are valuable professionals in an industry that demands rigor, accountability, and increasingly, standardized professional qualifications.

LINGOs Project Services is the number one provider of PMD Pro training, using a variety of innovative and cost-effective delivery approaches. Please join LINGOs Project Services Director John Cropper and special guest Edson Marinho of PM4NGOs for a 30-minute overview and Q&A about the PMD Pro approach.

By the end of this session you’ll be able to answer these questions, as well as any other questions you might have about the PMD Pro approach:

• What is PMD Pro?
• Why is PMD Pro making an impact in the development sector?
• How can I/my organization get involved?
• What free resources are available to me to improve my delivery of efficient, effective projects?
