LINGOs Community Meet-up
Wednesday, March 25 7:15 AM: Morning Buzz Room MB03
Join LINGOs CEO Chris Proulx and Member Services Manager Gus Curran for a LINGOs Community Meet-up, open to all the entire LINGOs community- members, partners and volunteers. We also welcome anyone who would like to learn more about LINGOs.
We will begin the hour with a short overview of LINGOs and our mission. Then, we get to work.
What topics are you excited about? What are you here to learn? How we can work together to identify the thought leaders at EcoSystems and Learning Solutions, and invite them to get involved with the LINGOs community?
We are ready to use the Ecosystems Conference to grow and strengthen the ecosystem of NGOs dedicated to helping those doing good, do it better.

This spring, FHI 360 will launch a new program for managers focusing on tools and strategies for people, projects, and money management. This blended 6-week course features virtual round tables, a series of simulations that examine a cooperative agreement project from start-up to close-out, and social media discussions. These activities are supported by several eModules developed by Global Giveback volunteers Claude Abbott, Anne-Céline Ternois, and Vanita Gupta. We’ll be highlighting the work our volunteers have completed that build learners’ skills with using pre-award assessment tools, providing coaching and feedback, and managing poor performance.

Look behind the scenes of an international humanitarian agency’s xAPI pilot project. See a live demo of our visualizations, cards and activity on the Watershed LRS. Ask questions about systems, instructional design and how we’re learning from and leveraging smart people and groups outside our organization to help us through. This demo will be a follow up to Thursday’s concurrent session “402 Hurts So Good: A Case Study of an Organization’s First Try with the xAPI.”
